The Beginning of Social Citrus 🍊

Turning 30 hit me harder than I expected—but not in the way you’d think. It wasn’t the usual “Should I be married with kids by now?” crisis. Instead, it was financial.

I chose a rather unconventional career, one where things like retirement savings, investments, and medical insurance are entirely up to me. As an ex-corporate girlie, that was a big shift. I wasn’t in a bad financial position, but I realized I wanted more control over my future without sacrificing the lifestyle I love.

That’s where Social Citrus was born.

I figured there’s no way I’m the only full-time professional who feels this way—who wants to create additional income without overhauling their entire life. Social Citrus is my space to explore exactly that: building a business while working full-time, balancing passions like wellness and travel, and creating something meaningful along the way.

More than anything, this is about community. I want Social Citrus (and this newsletter, the Citrus Circle) to be a place where you feel inspired, seen, and empowered to take action.
